We are excited to introduce you to the new resident whales at The Shiplap Quilt Shop. Ollie the Orca pattern was designed by Art East Quilting Co. exclusively for The Shiplap Quilt Shop. Inspired by the resident J, K, and L pods that grace the nearby Puget Sound of Washington State.
There was a great debate on our team when it came to choosing fabrics for the quilt kit. Some of us wanted the kit to be made in Batiks and others wanted in regular cotton. In the end, we couldn't decide, so you get to choose your favorite!
Ollie the Orca Quilt Kit has been curated in beautiful blender cotton. Kiki the Killer Whale has been curated in beautiful batik cotton. Both kits include the exclusive pattern from Art East Quilting Co.

The Highland Coo quilt kit continues to be our most popular kit of all time. Named after the Scottish hairy cows, and available in multiple background choices. The fabric selections in this kit have been curated by The Shiplap Quilt Shop.

Everyone loves these long-haired cows. In Scotland, cows are called coos and you will often hear the Highlands referred to as a coo even here in the USA. We are now offering you your choice of 5 background colors and an update on the coo him/herself. Everything you need to make this adorable quilt top is included in this kit. Backing and binding sold separately.
This quilt uses traditional piecing techniques and relies heavily on the Stitch & Flip technique. There are some points to match, however, the pieces are large giving you wiggle room to perfect your points. This project is great for the brave beginner and seasoned piecers alike!
Finished project measures 40" x 45".
